Global Teachers Classroom Welcomes 200 Educators in Spring Cohort The Bar JUNI & Irene Menakaya Foundation International is thrilled to announce that its Global Teachers Classroom (GTC) spring 2026 cohort has officially commenced, welcoming over 200 educators from across Africa, Europe, and North America. This intake is the largest in the program's history and reflects growing global recognition of the Foundation's commitment to educator excellence. The Global Teachers Classroom is an innovative digital platform designed to connect educators worldwide, enabling them to share knowledge, exchange best practices, and participate in structured professional development programs. Participants gain access to a curated library of teaching materials, expert-led virtual workshops, and a collaborative peer network. What the Spring Cohort Will Cover Over the next sixteen weeks, participants will engage with modules covering inclusive classroom practices, technology-enhanced teaching methods, and curriculum adaptation for diverse learning environments. A dedicated module on teaching in low-resource and rural settings has been introduced this cohort in direct response to feedback from previous participants. Voices from the Cohort One participating educator from Nigeria shared, "This program has completely changed the way I approach lesson planning. The resources and the community of teachers I have met through the GTC are invaluable." Testimonials like these underscore the program's real-world impact on classroom quality across borders. How to Get Involved Applications for the autumn 2026 cohort will open in July. Educators interested in joining the Global Teachers Classroom are encouraged to register their interest early. Visit our Global Teachers Classroom page for more details.
